Our Resort - the Villacana Macdonald in Estepona, Spain

During our stay in Estepona Spain we stayed at the Villacana Macdonald resort. Here are just a few pictures of the facilities and our unit. This is one of the most beautifully decorated resorts I have visited. There are many gardens with water fountains such as the one in the picture above throughout the resort and two very nice swimming pools. The resort restaurant was very good and there are also some very good restaurants just a short walk away from the resort. We were extremely pleased with our unit and the treatment received from everyone at the resort. The staff there made our brief stay at the resort a very pleasant and memorable experience. |
Living room was functional and spacious and included cable television and a small stereo system with CD player.

Here is a view of the dining and kitchen area - next to the door are the stairwell leading up to three warmly decorated bedrooms upstairs.
Here is a picture of a little enclosed yard - notice the grill in the corner.
And of course, no meal would be complete without a nice glass of sangria. One of our resort activities was a class on how to make sangria.
One of our resort-sponsored activities consisted of a lesson on how to make a paella - this was a great experience and the dish quite delicious.
